Catherine loves chatting on the phone these days!

Happy 2nd Birthday!!

Catherine is chatting up a storm these days. The other day she walked into the kitchen and said, "Whatcha doin' guys?"

She's so so so in love with Mickey Mouse and his gang of buds.

She loves to sing, especially with her dad. They have just them duets that they practice each day. After the latest episode of Glee, I overheard Lady Gaga's Pokerface playing on itunes. Next was:

Scott: "Let's slow it down a little Catherine..." Catherine: "Ma..ma...ma...ma...ma my pokerface...."

She eats just about everything. Tonight: brocolli (begged for more), turkey, mac and cheese and when she saw my salmon and quinoa "Salmon! Salmon!"

Earlier in May she went to the Dentist for the first time and now makes requests for us to "do floss".

And...she loves baseball. Sometimes as night she rolls over and talks about "daddy watching baseball game..." and if you ask her who her favorite team is she does a fist pump and says, "Go A's!!"

Alright, we've been a bit more than slack on the updates!

Here's what we've got: January was a month-long festivous of Sarah's Birthday. Nothing out of the ordinatry there. February brought Grandma Boland out for a quick visit. March took us down south to see our cousins Elle and Saylor AND to Disneyland. April's Easter Egg hunt was a smash hit and that brings us to May - and a lazy Sunday photoshoot.

See? You haven't really missed that much.

A Lazy Sunday in May...

English and North Pole Visitors!

Lee came to visit! After a comical arrival of errors, Lee landed on our door step on Wednesday evening. Friday was a beautiful day in the city and an important appointment with Santa was scheduled for Saturday. Catherine was decked out in her new duds. The whole thing went just about as well as the visit to the Easter Bunny last spring...afterward she settled for a costume change and a nice walk with her new friend, Lee-chan.

Two ladies...

A jaunt to Berkeley to see our ladies Laura and Bridget gave us a nice spot to warm up in the afternoon sun!


Following the lead of the Moes - a few things that Catherine is chatting about these days:

Tonight she said, "Pizza!" and "Banana" (although it sounded like "mana") She also says:

Mommy's shoes!

She also talks ALL the time about things that only she really should tell you about. Or, things that only she CAN tell you about!



Catherine also has some good new tricks: she can walk on the balance beam, swing from the monkey bars, kick a soccer ball and she and her dad check the mail together every day. She also knows the hokey pokey and if she's feeling frisky, will break it down to a little Beyonce!

We've come a long way...

Halloween 2008 was slightly different...

Happy Halloween! Catherine loved dressing up as a frog and hanging with her two friendly witches. She did great walking up to the doors and then would sit on the sidewalk to check her inventory.
