What's up, everybody?!?
Catherine wanted to wave hello to you all on this Father's Day morning......
Help!! I Can't Take My Hands Off The Camera!!
Scott is quickly turning into the "Dad Who Can't Stop Taking Pictures Of His Daughter!"
Of course, with a face as cute as Catherine's, he claims he is totally justified.....
Catherine Comes Home!
Our baby girl was released from the hospital on Thursday after a couple of nights in the ICU for precautionary reasons. She loves her surroundings and has been doing a bunch of baby stuff - mainly eating and sleeping! Here she is with her proud grandpas

Guess Who's Here!!
Catherine Hannah Drain came into the world on Tuesday, June 10th at 3:02 a.m. She weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz and was 20 inches tall at birth!
She takes after her mom - she is intelligent, gorgeous, and makes us laugh every time we see her.
Sarah and Catherine and Scott are all doing fantastic and came home from the hosital on Thursday. Here are some photos - obviously, many more to come!

French Toast and Zucchini
Since we've still got no baby diapers to change around here, we've been occupying our time with other pursuits. Sarah has been enjoying delicious breakfasts and Scott is pulling the season's first zucchinis from the garden.
French Toast and Zucchini as the highlight of our day?! PLEASE hurry up, Pepp!!!

Prego Pizza!
Last night we tried the latest in a series of efforts to get Pepp to hurry up and be born- Skipolini's "World Famous" Prego Pizza, which claims to have sent scores of women into labor within hours of eating it!
Pepperoni, salami, ham, mushrooms, sausage, bell peppers, linguisa, and EXTRA onions and garlic didn't seem to do the trick just yet, but definitely left us with strong breath and happy tummies!
You can read about the pizza here...

After a busy few days in SF, we continued to tire Elizabeth out on the ferry (it was a tad windy), at a concert in SF, wine tasting in Livermore followed by dinner at the Drains! We delivered her to the airport 29 minutes before her flight left - good thing the girl has been training for a marathon!

Week 36 - Getting Closer!
We were in this morning for our 36 Week check-up. We are only 7 days away from being in the "normal delivery" time frame - Scott better get going on assembling the crib!
A Shower for the Baby
A great party hosted by Katie and Jess gave Sarah and Pepp the chance to spend an afternoon with the girls and share lots of laughs. Grandma Boland and Aunt Melissa flew out from the East Coast and celebrated with Aunt Mary, Grandma Drain, and Aunt Joan.

Poppa Drain Signs Deal w/ A's...
Paul Drain helped lead the Oakland Athletics to a 6-5 victory on Saturday afternoon with an amazing catch in the 2nd deck of section 215. The pop fly skimmed the tops of fingertips of other A's fans and landed right in the hands (well...chest) of Senor Daddy-0. Pepp's first MLB baseball will keep company on the shelf w/ famous baseball of Ty Cobb & Tommy LeClerq.
